Obituary for Joyce Geraldine Wilson
Mrs. Joyce Geraldine Wilson, 72, of Taylorsville, passed away Tuesday, April 01, 2014 at her residence. A native of Bartow County, born February 6, 1942, she was the daughter of the late John Henry Wilson and the late Grace Levine Head Wilson.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a brother, Alton Wilson. Mrs. Wilson was a member of Bethel Crossroads Baptist Church. She was an avid recipe collector and enjoyed experimenting with new recipes for her family. She also enjoyed trout fishing, camping and collecting pocket books.
Survivors include her sons, Johnny E. Williams (Ramonda) of Kingston, Tim Williams (Lisa) of Cartersville, Henry Williams, Jr. (Tina) of Taylorsville; her brothers, Delmar Wilson of Rockmart and Roy Lee Wilson of Cartersville; fourteen grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, April 6, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Bethel Crossroads Baptist Church with The Reverend Charles G. Garrett. The family will receive friends following the memorial service in the fellowship hall. The family will also have a visitation from 6 – 8 p.m., Thursday, April 3rd at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
