Christine Carrie  Lee
Mrs. Christine Carrie Lee, 90, of Adairsville, died April 5, 2014 at her residence.

Born in Cherokee County, she was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother and was a true traditional southern lady. She gave much of her time taking care of people, but her family was always first in her life. She had a very gentle spirit and was very generous. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Robert Lewis Lee; and one son Lewis Leroy Lee.

Survivors include three daughters, Dorothy Smith (Ronald) of Orange Park, FL, Mary Evans (Thomas) of Adairsville, GA, and Nancy Lee of Adairsville, GA; 8 Grandchildren, Joseph Smith of Fairmount, Star Brittian of Adairsville, Missy Bloodworth of Adairsville, Geanie Smith of Taylorsville, Tom Evans of Adairsville, Christopher Cox of Kingston, James Cox of Adairsville and Kenneth Cox of Acworth; 16 great-grandchildren Hali, Eli, Cierra, Emily, Andrew, Annalisa, Thomas Lane, Tori, Tyler, Becca, Nathan, Addie, Leannah, Tracy Brittian, Claudia and Mallory: one great-great-grandchild, Caylin; sister, Rebecca Hastings of Cartersville.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday April 9, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home with The Reverend Bob Mitchell officiating. Interment will follow in Center Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 8, 2014 from 6 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Serving as pallbearers will be, Joseph Smith, Richard Smith, Richard Bloodworth, Christopher Cox, James Cox and Tyler Cox.
