Obituary for Steven Alexander Wiltin

Steven Alexander  Wiltin
Steven Alexander Wiltin, 37, of Cartersville, passed Sunday, July 20, 2014 at his residence.

Born January 27, 1977 at M.C.A.S. Cherry Point, NC, he was the eldest son of Steven Joseph and Judy Setzer Wiltin. Steve, an Eagle Scout and recipient of the Order of the Arrow, served as Scout Leader for Troop 15 at Trinity UMC. As a devoted father he shared his love of the outdoors with his children and enjoyed fishing, hiking, and camping. Steve loved to cook and was known among his friends and family as a “Grill Master.”

Steve is survived by his children, Liam and Mia Wiltin, both of Cartersville; brothers, Nick Wiltin of Knoxville, TN and Brian and Karen Wiltin of Denver, CO; nieces, Mary June and Etta Mae Wiltin; and loving aunts, uncles and cousins.

In honor of his love of the outdoors, a celebration of his life will be held at Red Top Mountain State Park, on Saturday, July 26, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at pavilion #1.
