Obituary for Jerry William Bryson

Jerry William  Bryson
Mr. Jerry William Bryson, 67, of Cartersville, widower of the late Angeline McGee Bryson, died Friday, August 22, 2014 at his residence.

Born July 29, 1947 in Centre, Alabama, he was a son of the late Marvin S. Bryson and the late Bea Leonard Bryson. Mr. Bryson was a member of the Church at Liberty Square and a veteran of the United States Army. In his younger years Mr. Bryson enjoyed hunting and fishing, and spending time on the lake in his houseboat. In addition to his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by a brother, Donald E. Bryson, Sr.

Survivors include his nephew, Donald E Bryson, Jr. and his wife Regina of Fort Mill, SC; niece, Carla Bryson Teems and her husband Kyle of Cartersville; sister-in-law, Ruth Bryson Rutledge and her husband Felton, also of Cartersville; two great-nieces, Sydney Bryson and Madeline Teems; a great-nephew, Tate Bryson; and special care-givers, Kaylan Williamson, Wendy Duran, and Colleen Hogue

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, August 25, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home with The Reverend Joe Nix officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 24, 2014 from 6 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
