Obituary for Carol T. Newberger

Carol T.  Newberger
Mrs. Carol Taylor Newberger, 67, of Cartersville, died Thursday, September 18, 2014 at her residence.
Born in Ducktown, Tennessee on October 22, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Ulysses Hayden Taylor, Sr. and Florence Lena Hughes Taylor. Carol enjoyed watching TV and playing cards. She was a very independent and determined lady and one who made everyone feel special. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Sarah Devotee and Glenis Crago.
Survivors include her daughter, Lisha Mize and husband, Shea of Cartersville; her grandson, Hayden Mize of Cartersville; her brothers, Bud Taylor of Ducktown, TN, Tom Taylor of Ducktown,TN, Hansel Taylor of Benton, TN and Danny Taylor of Farner, TN; along with several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, September 22, 2014 at Faith Baptist Church with Pastor Larry Foster and Deacon Bill Creel officiating.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Samaritan’s Purse, P.O. Box 3000, Bonne, NC 28607.
