Obituary for Cathy Diann Pritchett
Mrs. Cathy Diann Pritchett, 61, of Cartersville, died Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at her residence.
Born September 8, 1953 in Cartersville, she was a daughter of the late Glenn Popham and the late Sarah Frances Heath Jordan. Known to her husband, Buddy as “My Darling Wife”, Mrs. Pritchett attended Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church and worked for many years at Iris Dry Cleaners. She was a bird lover, and enjoyed puzzles and travel.
Survivors include her husband of 23 ½ years, Buddy Pritchett; son, Calvin Edwards, Jr. of Cartersville; daughter, Dina Edwards, also of Cartersville; grandchildren, Heather Terounzo, Alison Griffin, Sarah Edwards, C. J. Edwards, Bridget Davis, Summer Pritchett, Kevin Edwards, and Joshua Edwards; and great-grandchildren, Preston Griffin, Natalie Starnes, and Joshua Starnes, Jr.
Graveside services will be held on Sunday, October 19, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Sunset Memory Gardens Mausoleum with The Reverend Larry Hufstetler officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 18, 2014 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to Shriners Hospital for Children, 2900 Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, FL 33607 in memory of Cathy.
