Obituary for Franklin Mack Bunch

Mr. Franklin Mack Bunch, 72, of Cartersville, died Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at his residence. Born March 26, 1942 in Talking Rock, Georgia, he was the son of the late Floyd Cecil Bunch and Ethel Hightower Bunch.
Mr. Bunch was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church and was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. He retired from Lockheed-Martin with 20 years of service. Franklin had a great sense of humor, was a generous man, always willing to lend a helping hand and he never met a stranger. He loved being outdoors and mowing grass. In addition to his parents, his is preceded in death by his sisters, Pauline Reeves, Evelyn Soulis and Mary Lou Waters; a brother, Eddy Lee Bunch; and two brothers-in-law, James Reeves and Paul Soulis.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Jane Bunch of Cartersville; his sons, Glen Bunch (Lisa), Timothy Bunch (Kimberly) and Christopher Bunch (Jenny) all of Cartersville; his sisters, Hazel B. King (Redus) of Cartersville and Kim Marrow of Emerson; his brothers, Gene Bunch (Ann) and Ronnie Bunch (Linda) both of Cartersville; along with three grandchildren, Josh, Shane and Eric Bunch.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 12, 2014 at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church with The Reverend Butch Cole officiating. Interment will follow in Providence Cemetery. Mr. Bunch will lie-in-state for one hour prior to the service. The family will receive friends from 5 – 8 p.m. on Thursday at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
Serving as pallbearers will be Tommy Snellgrove, Charles Willis, Michael McIntyre, Blake Snellgrove, Josh and Shane Bunch.
