Obituary for Sally Anne Burdette

Mrs. Sally Anne Burdette, 71, of Cartersville, died Friday, February 20, 2015 at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital. She was born in Seneca, South Carolina on April 22, 1943 and was the daughter of the late Charles Eugene Dalton and the late Mary Grace Anderson Dalton.
Sally Anne was a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister and grandmother. Along with her husband, Harold, Sally Anne was owner and operator of Wall to Wall Frames for over 30 years. She used her creative talents to serve her customers and for personal enjoyment including arts, crafts and jewelry making. She was a member of Heritage Baptist Church and a Court Appointed Special Advocate volunteer for children. She attended Forrest College in Anderson, South Carolina and was an avid reader.
Survivors include her husband of 51 years, William Harold Burdette; daughters, Karla Burdette Johnson and her husband, Jay of Cumming, Mandi Burdette Cameron and her husband, Colin of Commerce; grandchildren, Riley Johnson of Cumming, Drew, Meredith and Courtney Cameron of Commerce; sister, Cindy Dalton of Cartersville; brother, Jimmy Lyles of Seneca, South Carolina. Sally Anne was endearingly known as “Sassy” by many of her family members.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A,M., Wednesday , February 25, 2015 at Heritage Baptist Church with the Reverend Michael Tutterow officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Flowers will be accepted or for those who choose may make a donation to the Etowah Valley Humane Society to honor her love of cats.
