Mary Ann (Housley)  Pennington
Mrs. Mary Ann Housley Pennington, 49, died Saturday, February 21, 2015 at her residence. Born in Detroit, Michigan August 4, 1965, she was the daughter of Betty Morris Lawson and the late Johnny Lawson.
Mrs. Pennington loved horses and enjoyed being outdoors. She had a huge heart. In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by a brother, Claude Lawson.
Survivors include her husband, Paul Pennington of Cartersville; her mother, Betty Oliver of Cartersville; her children, Shannon Merritt of Rockmart, April Adams of Cartersville, Joey Jones and Shawn Jones (Lisa) all of Corbin, Kentucky; her sisters, Kasey Prather of Dallas and Tracy Cameron of Cartersville; her grandmother, Mary Jo Morris; her grandchildren, Camren Jones, Candace Jones, Madison Jones, Mylah Merritt and Jaclyn Jones.
Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 25, 2015 in the Kingston Cemetery with The Reverend Danny Cain officiating. Private family visitation only.
