Obituary for Bobby Joe Haney
Mr. Bobby Joe Haney, 78, of Cartersville, died Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at his residence.
Born February 2, 1937 in Centre, Alabama, he was a son of the late Newt Haney and the late Bessie Turner Haney. Mr. Haney was of the Holiness Faith. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and fixing old lawnmowers. Mr. Haney was preceded in death by his wife Ima Jean Edwards Haney.
Survivors include his son, Darryl Haney and his wife Elizabeth of Cartersville; daughter, Marilyn Vernon and her husband Randy, also of Cartersville; sister, Edna Barnette of Cartersville; grandchildren, Joshua Haney, Melissa Jean Haney, Steven Vernon, and Jason Vernon; 10 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, May 23, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home with The Reverend Jerry Boston officiating. Interment will follow in Cassville Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, May 22, 2015 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
