Obituary for Mary Oveline Hudson
Mrs. Mary Oveline Hudson, 87, of Cartersville, died Thursday, June 18, 2015 at Cartersville Medical Center. A native of Bartow County, born June 9, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Cicero Townsend and Cora B. Gossett.
Mrs. Hudson was a member of the Cartersville Church of The Covenant and was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Harry N. Hudson and a grandson, Matthew Hudson.
Survivors include her children, Aubrey and Beverly Hudson, Jean and Ronnie Cline and Wayne Hudson; her grandchildren, Lynn Martin, Chad Cline, Neil Hudson and Michelle Hudson; her great-grandchildren, Lynsey Ruff, Josh Martin, Tiffany Cline, Katie Martin, Tori Thomas, Alex Culpepper, Jesse Martin, Aaron Thomas, Jacob Cline and Karri Grace Cline; and a great-great grandchild, Landon Ruff.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, June 21, 2015 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with The Reverend Ronnie Cline officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5 – 8 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
Serving as pallbearers will be Josh Martin, Curtis, Raymond, Luke, Donnie and Ron Townsend.
