Obituary for Winford Ray Hardee
Mr. Winford Ray Hardee, 76, of Cartersville, died Saturday, July 25, 2015 at Cartersville Medical Center. Born in Conway, South Carolina on April 23, 1939, he was the son of the late Grant and Annie Jo Hardee.
Mr. Hardee loved to cook and read. He was a member of the VFW of Cartersville. Before retirement, Mr. Hardee was employed by Ted Hicks Security as a pipe fitter. Mr. Hardee was a veteran having served in the United States Air Force.
Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Teena Johnson Hardee; his daughter, Camille; his sons, Greg, Brian, Barry and Joshua Hardee; his sisters, Betty Jo Hunt and Martha Ann Welch; along with several grandchildren and great grandchildren
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton with Greg Patterson officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until 12 Noon at the funeral home.
