Obituary for John Felton Carroll

Mr. John Felton Carroll, Jr. 71, of Kingston, died Thursday, July 30, 2015 at Floyd Medical Center.
He was born in Silver Creek, Georgia on January 24, 1944, and was the son of the late John Felton Carroll, Sr. and Thelma Herrin Carroll. He is also preceded in death by his sister, Ann Benson and a brother Donald Carroll. Mr. Carroll was a member of the Euharlee Lodge #457 F&AM and the Cattleman’s Association. He enjoyed playing golf, hunting and was a life-long farmer.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Annette Carroll of Kingston; his daughters, Dina Carroll of Louisville, Kentucky and Laurie Burton and husband, Keith of Kingston; his sons, Kyle Carroll of Kingston and Matthew Carroll and wife, Leigh Ann of Kingston; his sisters, Virginia Smith of Forsyth and Jeanette Satterfield of Cartersville; 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
A memorial service will be conducted at 5:00 p.m., Sunday, August 2, 2015 at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with The Reverend Paul Battles officiating. The family will receive friends from 2 – 5 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
Flowers will be accepted, but for those who choose, please make donations to the Euharlee Masonic Lodge #457 F&AM.
