Obituary for Patsy Ann Brown

Mrs. Patsy Ann Brown, 68, of Canton, died Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at her residence.

Born August 13, 1947 in Cartersville, she was a daughter of the late Hubert Smith and the late Lucille Hamrick Smith. Mrs. Brown was a member of Hickory Flat Baptist Church, and an avid reader. She loved to quilt and her favorite place to visit was the beach.

Survivors include her sister, Barbara Hicks of Cartersville; nieces, Tammy McIntyre and her husband Tim, Tina McDaniel and her husband Scott, Tonya Ridley-Hendrix and her husband Ernest; great-nieces, Genna McDaniel, her pride and joy, Mariah McDaniel; great-nephews, Timothy McIntyre, and Tyler McIntyre; and great-great-nieces, Samantha McIntyre and Olivia Cooper.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home with The Reverend Gary Ketcham officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Friday, February 12, 2016 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Lung Association for COPD Research, Donation Processing Center, Post Office Box 7000, Albert Lea, MN 56007-8001, in memory of Mrs. Brown.
