Obituary for Jacquline Ann Blasengame

Mrs. Jacquline Ann Blasengame, age 77, of Cartersville, died Sunday, May 1, 2016, at Cartersville Medical Center. Born in Rome, Georgia on March 26, 1939 she was the daughter of the late Laura Martin.

She worked hard her entire life, working at several carpet mills in Cartersville including Eagle, American and Leisure Textile Carpet. She also helped at the Adairsville Elementary School Library. When she first moved to Cartersville, she worked at the Visitor Center. She was very family oriented and enjoyed babysitting her grandchildren. In addition to her mother, she is preceded in death by her husband, Franklin Blasengame; her son, Eddie Blasengame; along with her daughter, Rosa Floyd.

Her last eleven years were spent at Huntwood Terrace, where she created an entire new family circle, playing bingo, going to Bible study, helping and being helped by those friends and neighbors she had grown to love so much.

Mrs. Blasengame leaves behind her children, Jimmy B. and Tammy Blasengame, John B. and Kathy Blasengame and Ann Floyd; 19 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
