Obituary for Charles K. Baker

Charles K.  Baker
Mr. Charles Kenneth Baker, age 68, of Cartersville, died Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at his residence. Born in Newberry, South Carolina on November 8, 1947, he was the son of the late C.K. Baker and Mary Nobles Baker.

Mr. Baker retired with twenty three of service from the United States Navy. He spent the rest of his career working as a sales representative with Sports Marketing South. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing cooking on his Big Green Egg and donating his time for the less fortunate with Next Genesis.

Survivors include his wife, Paula Bray Baker of Cartersville; his children, Christy Davidson and husband, James, Erica Baker and Sean Bray all of Cartersville; his grandchildren, Santana Baker of Cartersville, Jordan Davidson of Millesburg, Indiana, Chris Davidson of Macon, Tad Davidson of Acworth and Jacob Baker of Cartersville; a sister, Ann Hamm of South Carolina; along with two brothers, Jim Baker of Virginia and Stan Baker of South Carolina.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2:30 p.m., Friday, July 8, 2016 in Georgia National Cemetery in Canton.
