Obituary for Josephine (Jodi) Hensley

Mrs. Josephine (Jodi) Hensley, 62, of Cartersville, died Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at her residence. A native of Bartow County, she was born on September 26, 1953 and was the daughter of the late Clarence Bennett and Lula Belle Hufstetler Bennett.

Before retiring, Mrs. Hensley was employed by Nantucket Industries as a machine operator. Jodi was a born again Christian and a wonderful and loving wife, mother and grandmom. She was all about family and happiness. Along with her parents, Jodi is preceded in death by her brother, Joe Bennett; and her sisters, Shirley James and Carolyn Goss.

Survivors include her husband of 33 years, Jesse Hensley; her children, Amanda Stevens, Jesse Hensley, Jr. (Miranda) and Jeannie Delph (Tim); her grandchildren, Jesslin Groce, Cody Bearden (Mandi), Morgan Groce, Aden Cain and Jaxen Hensley; her great-grandson, Kason Knox; her siblings, Sue Woods, Joyce Dunagan, Catheryn Martin and Michael Bennett.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with The Reverends Tim Thompson and Josh James officiating. Interment will follow in Providence Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday from 5- 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Tim Delph, David Guthas, Scott Ward, Drew Knox, Randy Martin and Rusty Martin will serve as pallbearers.
