Obituary for Ann "Lucy" Hill

Ann "Lucy"  Hill
Mrs. Ann Lucille “Lucy” Hill, 88, of Cartersville, died Sunday, November 27, 2016 at her residence. Born January 12, 1928 in Cassville and was the daughter of the late Everett M. Simpson and Ida E. Garrett Simpson.
Lucy was a member of Friendship Baptist Church and was a master cosmetologist prior to retirement. She loved the Lord and was very active in her church in her younger years. Lucy was a very warm outgoing person who enjoyed helping other people. She always had a smile on her face and never met a stranger. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Milton B. Hill; her sisters, Gladys Stone and Bonnie Prewett; and nephew, Danny Stone.
Survivors include her daughter, Sherri Hill Green (Al) of Cartersville; her grandchildren, Spencer and Trevor Green of Cartersville; her nieces, Ann Shook and Kathy Davis of Cartersville; along with two nephews, Jimmy Stone and Jerry Prewett both of Cartersville.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with The Reverend Larry Davis officiating. Interment will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 – 8 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
