Obituary for Louise Haney

Louise  Haney
Mrs. Louise Haney, 88, of Cartersville, died on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at her residence. She was born in Summerville, Georgia on April 4, 1928, the daughter of the late Ayers Jones and Estelle Stewart Jones.

Mrs. Haney was a member of the Dalton Church of God and enjoyed gardening, doing crossword puzzles and playing in her flowers. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Johnnie Fred Haney; and a great-grandson, Dakota Gage.

She is survived by her daughters, Jerrie Edwards (Michael) of Calhoun, Janice Wade (Sammy) of Cartersville, Sue Johnson of Rydal, Myrtle Dayton (Hugh) of Marietta and Jonnie Marie Butler of Lafayette, Georgia; her sons, Danny Tanner (Theresa) of Suwanee, Tennessee and Cecil Haney of Cartersville; a brother, Doyle Jones (Carolyn) of Summerville; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Minister Michael Edwards in charge of the prayer. The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will follow in Cassville Cemetery.
