Obituary for Robert "Doug" Hardin

Robert "Doug"  Hardin
Mr. Robert “Doug” Hardin, 79, of Cartersville died Tuesday, September 04, 2012 at Kathy Cares Hospice. A native of Bartow County, born December 2, 1932, he was the son of the late Silas Hardin and the late Odessa Howell Hardin. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Rhetta Watts and his sister, Frances Garland.
Mr. Hardin was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Cartersville and a veteran having served in the United States Army.
He is survived by his wife, Martha Hardin of Cartersville; his daughter and son-in-law, Rhonda and Allen Juhan of Cartersville; his grandchildren, Tiffany and Kyle Troop of Cartersville; Brielle and Matt Shinall of White, Hannah and Nathan Wright of Kennesaw, and A.J. Juhan of Cartersville; his son-in-law, Eldon Watts of Cartersville; his sister, Lavane Sutton of Cartersville and several nieces and nephews.
A private graveside service will be held on Wednesday. The family will receive friends from 5 – 8 p.m. , Wednesday evening at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home.
