Mrs. Phyllis Sue Perry, 62, of Cartersville, passed away suddenly, Saturday, January 11, 2014 at her residence. A native of Bartow County, born December 11, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Millard Lewis and the late Ellen Bradshaw Lewis.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sisters, Ann Sanford and Jane Coffey. Sue was employed by the Cartersville Country Club for 13 years as a chef. She was a very giving person and had a great sense of humor. She enjoyed life and fishing along with being “everbodies Mom”.
Survivors include her daughters and son-in-law, Georgia Autumn Martin (Terry) of Marietta and Heather Nicole Perry of New Orleans; her brother Johnny Lewis and fiancée`, Lynn Smith of Cartersville.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 15, 2014 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with the Reverend Josh Proctor officiating. Interment will follow in the Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 – 8 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home.
