Obituary for Mary "Maribel" Price

Mrs. Mary Bell “Maribel” Price, 84, of Cartersville, Georgia, formerly of Springfield, Illinois, died Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at Cartersville Medical Center.
She was born May 19, 1929 in Carbondale, Illinois, the youngest child of the late John H. Brumley and the late Myrtle Edith Williams Brumley. She married Walter Hancock in 1945 and later married Bernie L. Price in 1948 in Blytheville, Arkansas and remained married until his death on July 13, 1998.
Maribel was a resident of Springfield, Illinois from 1950 – 2002 where she was employed by the State of Illinois Department of Revenue from 1969 – 1991, there after retiring. She was a member of the East Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Cartersville, Georgia.
Mrs. Price is survived by five sons, John G. Hancock (Merilyn) of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Paul H. Price of Tampa, Florida, David A. Price (Rose) of Katy, Texas, Mark W. Price (Anita) of Albany, Georgia, C. Todd Price (Ruth) of Chatham, Illinois; two daughters, Mrs. Simon Dalseme (Tamara L.) of Marietta, Georgia and Mrs. Matthew (Gail M.) Dessez of Cartersville, Georgia, twenty one grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; her sister, Gladys R. Carlson of Pensacola, Florida and many other nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 10, 2014 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses with Brother Mark Bauer officiating.
