Passing on Traditions

One of my earliest memories of my dear cousin, Gloria, was at an early age for Debi, Micki and myself.  My family lived with the Blizzard grandparents in Wrightsville.  Gloria, Wayne, Debi & Micki were on a trip from or to Florida at the time and had stopped in for a couple of days to visit.  Debi and I could not have been much older than 4.  That would have made Micki around 2-3.  Gloria was preparing breakfast for us in the big farmhouse kitchen and she asked me if I wanted my eggs runny or scrambled.  I asked her could she fix it like MaMa and she replied.  "Why I certainly can, she's the one that taught me how to cook them".  As I'm sure there are many family traditions that will live on within the Mathew's family just from the strong, stable upbringing that Gloria and Wayne have been able to pass down for 3 more generations.

The Blizzard Family will surely miss you, but we're filled wth the sweet memories of our childhood through our adulthood that so strongly included Glora & Wayne.

The Angels are singing praises as well as our loved ones who will meet you at the River of Paradise.
