Obituary for Joseph "Frankie" West

Joseph "Frankie"  West
Mr. Joseph “Frankie” West, 70, of White passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2015 at his residence. Born in Villa Rica on August 14, 1944, he was the son of the late Joseph Kenyon West and Anna Stallings West.
Mr. West was of the Baptist Faith and was retired from Lockheed Martin where he was a supervisor. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking and working with his hands doing woodwork. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a step-daughter, Melissa Camp.
Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Sue West; his daughters and son-in-law, Kimberly and Ricky Chambers and Tamara Heath all of Cartersville; his stepson, Keith and his wife Sandra Turnipseed of Jacksonville, Florida; his grandchildren, Christa Williams (Nikki), Robbin Sanders, Caylie Mooney, Casey Sanders, Kymberley Sanders, Chace Heath and Evan Heath; ten great-grandchildren; his sisters, Patricia Worley, Carolyn Jones and Sandra Ray; and several nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 23, 2015 in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Mitzi Oates officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Serving as pallbearers will be Casey Sanders, Ricky Chambers, Ray Sanders, Chace Heath, Evan Heath, Charles Jenkins and John Williams.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Amedisys Hospice for their care and the kindness shown to the family during this difficult time.
