Obituary for Jack Lee McIntyre

Mr. Jack Lee McIntyre, 76, of Cartersville, died Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at Cartersville Medical Center. Born in Omaha, Nebraska on August 24, 1939, he was the son of the late Ammon McIntyre and Evelyn Smith McIntyre.

Jack enjoyed watching baseball, football, going fishing and watching old movies. He was a family man who loved his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Helen Wilson McIntyre of Cartersville; his children, Susan Shirley of Oregon, Sarah McIntyre of Cortolane, Idaho and Mark McIntyre of Cartersville; 2 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; his brother, Jerry McIntyre of Oregon; and one sister.

No services have been planned at this time. The family will however, receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. on Saturday at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
