Obituary for Preslie Reese Williams

Preslie Reese  Williams
Preslie ReeseWilliams, five month old infant daughter, of Brad and Megan Williams died Monday, August 8, 2016 at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta – Egleston. She was born in Cartersville on February 28, 2016.

Preslie is preceded in death by her brother, Cooper Reed Williams; great-grandfather, Horace Williams and her great-grandmothers, Joyce Wilson and Nana Ruth Green; and great-granddad, Andrew Ingle.

She is survived by her parents; her brother, Parker Williams; her aunts and uncles, Kendall Womack, Timothy and Pamela Williams, Matthew and Victoria Williams and Andrew and Cidnee Williams; her paternal grandparents, Tim and Lisa Williams; her maternal grandparents, Billy and Tammy Womack; her great-grandparents, Henry and Michele Williams, Linda Williams, Robert and Joy Womack, Ruth Ingle and Papa George Green; great-great-grandmother, Sally James; her cousins, Emmalie, Tucker and Carter Williams; special friends, John and Sherry Smith; and extended family and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 11, 2016 at Bethel Crossroads Baptist Church with The Reverend Charles Garrett officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. on Thursday at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Preslie Reese Williams GoFund Me Account.

Serving as pallbearers will be Sargent Kenny Lowery and Sargent Joe Hill. Members of the City of Cartersville Fire Department will serve as honorary pallbearers.
