Ruth was my sister. She spent her whole life caring for her family. Ruth loved her Mom, brothers, sisters, husband, children and grandchildren with all her heart. She never stopped believing in, hoping for and having faith in the ones she loved. Ruth's death leaves a hole in our lives and she will be deeply missed. Our peace and comfort come from our faith in Jesus Christ and his promise of heaven. We will see and be with Ruth again someday.

Ruth was a good sister who loved her family above all things. She told me a few weeks ago that it was hard to think of our mama, our brothers Ray and Keith, and our sister Linda because she missed them so much. Yesterday she joined them in heaven. What a homecoming they must have had! Now she will be added to my list of those I miss. The good news is that one day we will all be together again. Thank you Jesus for making that possible.
