Obituary for Carol Otting Allred

Carol Otting  Allred
Mrs. Carol Otting Allred, 77, of Cartersville, widow of the late Charles F. Allred, died Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at Mt. Berry Hospice in Rome.

Born May 18, 1938 in Cartersville, she was the daughter of the late Clarence Creed Otting and the late Annie Mae Yarbrough Otting. Mrs. Allred was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them and traveling. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Ronnie Otting.

Survivors include her children, Don Allred and his wife Terri, Debbie Earwood and her husband Sonny, and Dale Jenkins and her husband Eddie, all of Cartersville, Lisa Chambers and her husband Dennis of Vinton, Louisiana, and Chris Allred and his wife Lorie of Rockmart; grandchildren, Jennifer Luedtke, Chase Allred, Katie Boliver, Heather Bell, Amy Chambers, Monica Brown, Hannah Jenkins, Lauren Allred, Abby Grayce Allred, and Camden Allred; great-grandchildren, Josslyn Rae Luedtke, Gatlin James Allred, Nathan Brown, and Alex Brown.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, May 29, 2015 at 8:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home with The Reverend Keith Willard officiating. Interment will follow in Georgia National Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 28, 2015 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society, 1825 Barret Lakes Boulevard, Suite 280, Kennesaw, GA 30144, in memory of Mrs. Allred.

Serving as Pallbearers will be Robbie Roberts, Jimmy Allred, Jeremy Knight, N.C. Moore, Chase Allred, and Alex Turner.
