Loved him so much! I loved how he always called us " his girls". I loved how every time I saw him he would remind us of when Beth "learned" to drive a stick shift!! He was a great daddy to us all!!

My condolences to the Hambrick family and many friends. Mr. Hambrick played a large part in my life beginning in elementary school. I was so proud to be a part of the greatest HS band, both marching and concert. He instilled a sense of value, ethics and hard work in me. The summer days were short for band members. Practice 3 times a day. He had the best eyesight of anyone! One mess up and we all went running back down the field to do it again. Mr. Hambrick instilled that music was important. I often think of those times and am forever grateful for the guidance from him and Jane. His memory will live on in the lives of many he has touched.

Mr. Hambrick was a great educator, teacher, mentor and friend. He was always ready to listen if you needed someone. I had the privilege of being one of his students at Cass High and also his son Johnny and daughter Beth, were both great friends of mine. He will truly be missed. Please know that your family are in my prayers.

Papa, you were my world before I could walk. My mom tells me about how I would only let you take care of me before I went to daycare everyday. I've adored you from day one feel so honored to call you my Grandfather. I will forever and always be your girl. I love you.

The world has lost a great man but heaven is rejoicing to have him there. I know Tommy and Johnny was at the gate to welcome him. I can see those two looking for something to fix. Hope God knows what he's up for. We were so lucky to have had John and Jane and their family as our friends. May God be with them and give them peace and strength .Love you all.
